Make a Chess Move (MACM) disrupts the school to prison pipeline by developing tenacious learners, compassionate leaders, and ethically driven critical thinkers. Through the game of chess, MACM has designed a research-based curriculum that identifies and targets positive youth protective factors and the reduction of youth risk factors. The curriculum is delivered to youth ages 8-26 with an emphasis on developing staff and young leaders from program participants.
Wawokiye LLC has been honored to partner with the MACM team by providing free web consulting services. Empowering the team staff to continue their work independently, and educate those working on their website in-house. We are so proud of the community work that MACM provides in supporting local youth and look forward to continuing assisting when and where we are asked to.
